Warm. Rustic. Mediterranean.

The owner of this sunny back garden was inspired by her many holidays in Spain and wanted to capture some of that feeling at her own home in London. We used a mixture of light, bright materials to reflect the sun and maximise the light with warm earthy tones coming through in the handmade terracotta pots and brick pavers. A timber pergola structure over the dining space is perfect for grape vines to climb over, and the surrounding raised beds are planted up with drought-tolerant sun-loving perennials such as Echinacea magnus, Euphorbia wulfenii, Cistus pulverentus and long-flowering Salvia nemerosa - all of which will provide masses of interest for humans and wildlife alike.

Amelia was really flexible and easy to work with from the outset. She delivered everything on time and dealt with project issues promptly and efficiently, going above and beyond on several occasions. She was a joy to work with, and did a great job of project managing the build and liaising with the contractors. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others for similar projects.
