Let’s talk about . . . FRONT GARDENS

Does yours make a great first impression?

Our front gardens are often overlooked in favour of the larger back garden but often they are the sunniest place to sit, not to mention we walk through them every single day! A well designed front garden contributes enormously both to our own positive state of mind but also to the kerb appeal of your property and, ultimately, adds to its value and saleability should you decide to move on.

Choosing the right plants for a front garden is vital in order to make a good impression all year round. Create a framework of hard working structural evergreens and interplant with seasonal colour to make you smile as you walk past.

GROSVENOR ROAD, E11

This larger-than-average front garden in east London was nothing but bare soil and a constant battleground with weeds. The brief was to create something with a classic feel but with a twist. Manageable planting pockets sit within a playful staggered pattern of clay pavers with inset areas of limestone gravel for texture and contrast. A simple palette of mainly evergreen plants provide colour and structure year round with the addition of alliums and geraniums for summer colour!
